Doula Support
Birth and early parenthood is life-changing. With my doula support, I’ll help you feel informed, empowered and deeply cared for, so you can enter this new chapter with confidence. I work with families in Leeds, Yorkshire, York and surrounding areas.
"I honestly don’t believe we could have had the birth experience we did without Charlotte. She was supportive, encouraging, knowledgeable, friendly, warm, and truly willing to go above and beyond. If you are considering a doula, Charlotte is the person you want by your side."

Birth Doula Support
As your birth doula, I provide continuous, personalised support for you and your partner (if you have one) throughout pregnancy, labour and birth. My role is to ensure you feel informed, empowered and supported every step of the way. I’ll help you explore your birth choices, navigate informed decision-making and advocate for your preferences while offering practical comfort measures and emotional reassurance. My priority is you - your needs, your wishes and your experience - so you can approach birth with confidence, no matter the location or circumstances.

Postnatal Doula Support
As your postnatal doula, when all eyes might be on your newborn baby, my job is to “mother the mother” and provide nurturing emotional, practical and informational support in the vulnerable early days, weeks or months after your baby is born. My goal is simple - to make your transition into parenthood smoother - leaving you feeling empowered, supported and cared for so you can thrive with your newborn.
"I started off intimidated by the thought of giving birth and feeling completely out of control… now I am confident, I feel capable in advocating for myself and in navigating conversations with medical professionals. Charlotte she gave us the knowledge and taught us the techniques to manage my birth positively"

What is a Doula?
A doula is a person who provides nurturing emotional, practical and informational support to you and your partner (if you have one) during pregnancy, childbirth and the postnatal period; supporting you while you navigate an intense transformational period in your life.
Postnatally, at a time when all eyes might be on the newborn baby, a doula’s job is to “mother the mother” and make you feel like a goddess no matter where or how you give birth. The word 'doula' originates from ancient Greek language and means 'a woman who serves'. As a doula, I have no agenda, other than offering you options, information and supporting you to feel empowered to find the way that suits you best and help you thrive.

My training & qualifications:
I’m a self-confessed birth nerd! Since qualifying as a Hypnobirthing teacher in 2021, I’ve trained as a Doula with Nurturing Birth and a Breastfeeding Peer Supporter with Leeds Bosom Buddies. I’m fully insured and I’m always learning, whether it’s through books, podcasts, courses or regular mentoring. This ensures I can offer up-to-date, evidence-based and nurturing support throughout your pregnancy, birth and postnatal journey.
