Bespoke Doula Support for pregnancy, birth and beyond
Birth and early parenthood is life-changing. With nurturing doula support, I’ll help you feel informed, empowered and deeply cared for, so you can enter this new chapter with confidence.

I support families in Leeds, Yorkshire and the surrounding areas.
Birth Doula Support
As a birth doula, I'm here to walk alongside you. To support, encourage, and reassure you as you explore your feelings around birth in a relaxed, judgment-free environment.
The time at the end of pregnancy and in early labour can feel vulnerable and uncertain. They can be loud with voices from friends, family, social media, and the maternity system.
I’m here to be a trusted part of your support system during labour and birth, reminding you of the choices you have and the power you hold.

Postnatal Doula Support
As your postnatal doula, when all eyes might be on your beautiful newborn baby, my job is to “mother the mother” and provide nurturing emotional, practical and informational support in the vulnerable early days, weeks or months after your baby is born.
My goal is simple - to make your transition into parenthood smoother - leaving you feeling confident, supported and cared for so you can thrive physically, emotionally and mentally, with your newborn.
"I started off intimidated by the thought of giving birth and feeling completely out of control… now I am confident, I feel capable in advocating for myself and in navigating conversations with medical professionals. Charlotte she gave us the knowledge and taught us the techniques to manage my birth positively"

About
Hi! I’m Charlotte, and I’m a self-confessed birth nerd!
Being asked to support someone during this time of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum is a privilege and an honour. I don’t do this for the love of babies, I do this for the love of mothers. Because if the mother (or the parents) feels supported and held, the baby has everything they need to thrive.
Since qualifying as a Hypnobirthing teacher in 2021, I’ve trained as a Doula with Nurturing Birth and a Breastfeeding Peer Supporter with Breastfeeding LENS for Leeds Bosom Buddies. I’m fully insured, and I’m always learning through books, podcasts, courses, and mentoring. I offer up-to-date, evidence-based, nurturing support throughout your pregnancy, birth and postnatal journey.

Your on-call support
As your birth doula, I’m here to hold space for your emotions, reassure you about your worries, signpost you to information that can help you make informed decisions, and cheerlead as you prepare for and birth your baby.
I focus on building a trusting relationship first, so that you have confidence to feel held and supported. I combine in-person sessions, evidence-based guidance, birth preparation and attendance, and postpartum support so you feel empowered through this transformational time.
