Terms and Conditions

As I am a small business and can offer limited spaces on courses and for doula support a non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place on a Positive Birth Leeds course or your doula support package. The balance payment is due in full 14 days prior to the course start date, or before your "on call" period starts for birth doula support clients, as agreed in your doula support agreement.
 
Payment is for the full course as advertised and not for individual sessions. Participants’ place on a Positive Birth Leeds course is not confirmed until the deposit payment has been confirmed as received. If full payment is not received prior to the course start date, or the "on call" period starts, your place on the course or support package will be cancelled.

Power Hour sessions require full payment before the session starts.

If your baby is born before the course starts the full course fee will be repaid to you. In the unlikely event of a course being cancelled by Charlotte Watson attempts will be made to reschedule to another date. If this is not possible, or alternative dates cannot be agreed, a full refund will be given. These are the only circumstances under which a refund will be provided. 
 
If for any reason in person courses cannot take place, for example extreme weather or government restrictions, the course will be rescheduled or proceed online via live video link e.g. Google Meet.

Participants who have booked a private one to one course are required to give in full 7 days notice to reschedule any sessions. If the session cannot be rescheduled to an agreed date and the sessions cannot take place no refund can be given for individual sessions.

Using hypnobirthing techniques and doula support is not a substitute for the advice of or the presence during birth or any part of pregnancy or labour of a qualified medical practitioner, midwife or obstetrician. Charlotte Watson does not purport to act as a midwife or medical professional in any way and does not offer any medical or clinical support of any kind. It does not represent in fact or otherwise an alternative to appropriate medical care or for professional medical advice in any way shape or form.
 
Any questions or doubts that you have about the use of hypnobirthing by you or any third party in any part should be discussed by you with your medical caregiver and the safety of or the appropriateness of this programme to you or any third party whom you represent be confirmed with your medical caregiver prior to taking this programme. 
 
Taking part in a Positive Birth Leeds hypnobirthing course in no way guarantees a certain birth outcome. 

Charlotte Watson will exercise the utmost care for you in the course of our time together. The decision to retain a doula or attend a hypnobirthing course remains that of the client and Charlotte Watson does not accept any liability for any problems that arise during or after pregnancy and birth. You understand and accept that you are retaining Charlotte Watson at your own risk and that any injury or mishap to you or the baby will not be Charlotte Watson's responsibility.
